Terms and Conditions

HxAR.io ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Meta Home Limited and covers two apps: HxAR (our worldwide augmented reality platform) and AccountsSystem (HxAR Books) (our UK-only business management app).

By accessing or using either app, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must immediately stop using the apps and associated services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Meta Home Limited, requiring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

When using HxAR or AccountsSystem, you agree to:

• Secure and maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Conduct yourself ethically, respecting the rights and privacy of other users.
• Avoid uploading content that infringes intellectual property rights, or that is unlawful, offensive, harmful, or objectionable.
• Immediately report any unauthorized access or suspected security breaches.
• Adhere to all relevant local, national, and international laws.

Failure to uphold these responsibilities may lead to suspension or termination of your account without prior notice.

Both apps collect and manage minimal user data as described in our Privacy Policy.

• Data Collected: Apple User ID (for authentication), public username, optional profile details, and user-generated data (e.g. AR assets or jobs/invoices depending on the app).
• Purpose: To ensure secure access and enable app functionality.
• Storage: Securely stored using Apple's iCloud CloudKit with encryption.
• Data Sharing: Not shared with third parties, except as required by law or as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
• Consent & Control: Users control their data, including the right to request deletion in-app (Profile > Edit Profile > Delete Account).

All software, designs, and proprietary technologies belong to Meta Home Limited or its licensors.

User-generated content (UGC) remains the property of the user. By uploading UGC, you grant Meta Home Limited a non-exclusive license to:

• Use, display, and store content within the HxAR ecosystem.
• Showcase content on official platforms.
• Use content for promotional purposes directly related to the apps.

Users must not upload content infringing intellectual property rights. Violations may result in removal, suspension, or legal action.

Both apps are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties, express or implied.

Meta Home Limited disclaims liability for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of either app, including:

• Loss of data, tokens, invoices, or AR content.
• Errors or inaccuracies in app functionality.
• Service interruptions or unauthorized access.

Users acknowledge they use the apps at their own risk. Liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Meta Home Limited reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Any changes become effective immediately upon posting within the apps or at hxar.io. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms regularly.

You may delete your account and all associated data directly in-app via:

Profile > Edit Profile > Delete Account

Upon confirmation, your account and personal data will be permanently deleted within a reasonable timeframe. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us at admin@hxar.io.

We comply with GDPR and relevant privacy regulations.

In addition to the shared terms:

• Geolocation: HxAR may use your device's location for AR placement, map annotations, collectibles, and sponsored content. Location data is not sold or tracked outside the app.
• AR Content: You are responsible for any USDZ assets, placements, or scenes you upload. By sharing AR content, you grant permission for it to be publicly visible to other users.
• Sponsored Locations & Collectibles: Future features may include promotional or sponsored spaces. Participation in such features is optional.
• Community Interactions: Usernames and optional profile details may be displayed to others when engaging in AR experiences.

In addition to the shared terms:

• Business Data: AccountsSystem is intended for UK businesses to manage jobs, invoices, clients, workers, and expenses. All data you enter (e.g., client information, VAT numbers, receipts) is your responsibility.
• Client & Worker Profiles: You may input or link client/worker details to jobs and invoices. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents.
• Financial Records: Invoices, expenses, and signatures are securely stored and accessible only to authorized users within your business.
• Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring that your use of AccountsSystem complies with applicable UK financial, tax, and data protection laws.
