Community guidelines

Create freely. Share responsibly.

HxAR connects digital content with real places. Everyone publishing or interacting with community content has a responsibility to keep that connection safe, lawful and respectful.

01

Who the community is for

Apple currently rates HxAR 16+ because it includes user-generated content and unrestricted web access. Every user must also meet any higher age or eligibility rule that applies locally.

02

Share only what you have the right to use

Do not upload models, images, video, music, brands or other material that infringes someone else’s copyright, trade mark, privacy or other rights.

03

Do not create harm

Content must not threaten, harass, exploit, impersonate or target people. Do not use a placement to encourage trespass, unsafe movement, illegal activity or damage.

  • No sexual exploitation, graphic violence or hateful content.
  • No bullying, threats, stalking, doxxing or impersonation.
  • No scams, spam, deceptive placements or dangerous instructions.
  • No content that exposes another person’s private information.
04

Keep public spaces appropriate

Consider the place and the people likely to encounter an experience. Content attached to schools, memorials, homes and sensitive locations deserves particular care.

05

Moderation and reporting

Meta Home Limited may restrict, remove or preserve information about content or accounts when needed to investigate a report, protect users, enforce these guidelines or comply with law.

Reports should identify the content, creator and approximate place, explain the concern and include a screenshot only when it can be captured safely.

Repeated or serious violations can lead to content removal or account restriction. A person who believes action was taken in error can ask for review by emailing the moderation contact with the relevant account and decision details.
